General
iManage-SCI includes six sessions completed over six weeks (one session per week). Each session takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
No. Use of the iManage-SCI system is free for this study.
The iManage-SCI program was developed by SCI researchers with input from individuals with SCI and clinicians who care for people living with SCI. iManage-SCI is run by Dr. David Tulsky and a team at the University of Delaware.
Development of iManage-SCI has been funded by several organizations and agencies, including the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation; the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR); and the U.S. Department of Defense.
Once you complete a session, it can't be retaken. However, you can review previously viewed videos and summaries by clicking the "Review video" and "Review summary" icons for any completed session.
You will see your summary each time you complete a session. Data from the summaries will only be accessible to you and authorized study personnel. The study team will not share this information with your provider.
Sexual Wellness
The questionnaires assess aspects of your current sexual wellness, including your interest and ability to participate in sex, and satisfaction with your sex life.
The developers of iManage-SCI regularly met with clinicians who work with individuals with spinal cord injury on sexual wellness issues to create content for the system.
